Description
This compound belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 9b-azaphenalenes. These are alkaloids with a structure based on the perhydro-9b-azaphenalene skeleton. Perhydro-9b-azaphenalene is a tricyclic compound consisting of quinolizidine that share its only nitrogen atom with a piperidine. In some 9b-azaphenalenes, the resulting tricyclic backbone can be unsaturated.
